The Westin Kierland Resort gives visitors plenty of reasons not to forget their golf bags and some innovative ways to enjoy the game. Golfers can cruise the resort's courses on Segways, work on their swing with the Fore-MAX training system or enjoy the climate-controlled driving range and air-conditioned carts.
The resort offers three Scott Miller-designed 18-hole combinations, each named for the indigenous plant life found on the course. Golfers can experience the changing elevations and desert influence on the Acacia, Ironwood and Mesquite courses, or learn some new tips from the resort's instructional programs.
All rooms at the Westin Kierland feature private balconies or patios, and offer views of the golf course and the nearby mountain ranges. Visitors can also enjoy a day of luxury at the resort's Agave spa.
