Frank Lloyd Wright was the consulting architect on this landmark property, which opened in 1929 one of the first resorts in Phoenix. Its guests have included U.S. presidents and celebrities. Irving Berlin wrote the song “White Christmas” while sitting next to a pool at the Biltmore.
The high-ceilinged is cool, dim and angular, providing visual relief on bright Sonoran Desert days. Comfortable seating areas are arranged for relaxation and conversation. Ease into a couch with a cocktail from the Wright Bar, or take your drink out onto the bar's terrace and enjoy the mountain views.
The resort sits on 39 acres and has 740 rooms, including 78 one-and two-bedroom villas; a full-service spa, salon and fitness center; eight swimming pools; seven tennis courts; and five restaurants and bars. The adjacent Arizona Biltmore Country Club offers two 18-hole PGA golf courses.
